Here is what some of Judy's students have to say.

"Mrs Brooks has been my piano teacher for 2 1/2 years. She is a kind and patient teacher, who makes sure I understand things. She always explains what we're doing in the lesson. She encourages me to do well and to be confident in my practice. I look forward to my lesson because she makes it interesting and enjoyable." Nadia - 9 years

"From childhood I had always wanted to learn piano, but the opportunity was not available in the period post Depression. After moving to Coffs Harbour in retirement, I mentioned to a friend that I was considering piano tuition and was looking for a teacher who could take on a very senior student. It was suggested that I contact Judy Brooks Piano Tuition and Judy accepted me as a student. I am still enjoying the experience, and have found Judy's positive and patient method very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend her tuition. I am still enjoying the experience and have found Judy's positive and patient method very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend her tuition." Audrey - 81 years

"Judy has been my daughter's piano teacher for 3 1/2 years-since my daughter was 7. I can wholeheartedly recommend Judy as a piano teacher. My daughter loves music and playing the piano due to the enthusiasm that Judy always displays. She has great fun with Judy during her lessons. Judy is reliable and thoroughly well-prepared for each lesson. She tailors exercises and chooses pieces of music to engage and inspire the students. The framework that Judy sets for learning is, in my opinion, beneficial for a child's general approach to education - she nurtures a joy of learning and encourages innovation and experimentation. A truly inspirational teacher." Annette, mother of Nicola - 10 years

A note written to Judy from parents of Kelsey - 13 years:

Steve & I would like to thank you for the time & effort you put into Kelsey's piano lessons. She enjoys visiting you each week & the relaxed manner in which you teach her. We have noticed her growth & development in playing her pieces. She now plays with lots of passion & emotion, clearly enjoying her piano-playing ability. At home she surfs the net to discover other music pieces that she would like to learn to play. In just two years of playing at Eisteddfods, Kelsey has notably gone from one encouragement award last year, to achieving two first place awards and the Eisteddfod's Encouragement Trophy this year. This is clearly a testament to your teaching abilities and dedication.

Thanks again,
Janelle & Steve Passlow
